Private Pilot Helicopter

• Be at least 17 years of age
• 40 Hours of flight time (60-70 Hour average instruction & solo)
• Meet the flight requirements of FAR 61
• Written Test
• FAA Physical
• Practical Flight Test s Cost $12,000 to $14,000

Private Pilot Helicopter Add On
Prerequisite: Private Pilot Airplane

• 40 Hours of flight time (50-60 Hour average instruction & solo)
• Meet the requirements of FAR 61
• Practical Flight Test
• Cost $10,000 to $14,000

Commercial Pilot Helicopter
Prerequisite: Private Pilot Helicopter

• Be at least 18 years of age
• 150 Hours of Flight Time
• 50 Hours in helicopter
• Meet the flight requirements of FAR 61
• Written Test
• FAA Physical
• Practical Flight Test
• Cost $2,000 to $3,500

Commercial Pilot Helicopter Add On
Prerequisite: Private/Commercial Pilot Airplane
Same as initial Commercial except for following changes:

• 150 Hours of Flight Time
      50 Hours in a Helicopter
• 100 Hours of Pilot in Command
      35 Hours in a Helicopter
• Cost $10,000 to $14,000

Instrument Pilot Helicopter
Prerequisite: Private/Commercial Pilot Helicopter

• 50 Hours Cross Country PIC
      10 Hours Cross Country PIC in a Helicopter
• 40 Hours Instrument Instruction
      15 Hours in a Helicopter From an Authorized Instructor

Certified Flight Instructor
Prerequisite: Commercial Pilot Helicopter

Robinson R44 Transition
Prerequisite: Private Pilot, 75 hours in helicopter, 50 hours Robinson

• 5 Hours R44
      1 Hour basic manuevers
      2 Hour advanced manuevers
      2 Hour emergency procedures
• Ground instruction
• Cost $2295.

• 500 Hours total time
      10 Hours make & model
• 250 Hours total time
      50 Hours make & model
• 100 Hours total time
      75 Hours make & model
• 3-5 Hours dual instruction in make & model
• 100 Hours total time and less than 75 hours make & model
• 5-10 Hours dual instruction in make & model
